In September 2011. leaders of TRANSVAC, a collaborative infrastructure project funded under the European Commission’s (EC) 7th Framework Programme (FP7), have accepted the application of dr. Jelena Ivančić Jelečki and colleagues from Molecular Biomedicine Unit.

In 2006, a group of researchers and professionals formed a global Alliance for Rabies Control. They created and began inviting partners to join the World Rabies Day initiative.
